Welcome to Building Bridges Wellbeing
Building Bridges Wellbeing is an online coaching and mentoring programme for parents and teachers to help you to be able to support your child's mental health and wellbeing.
The Building Bridges Courses
These courses are designed to equip you with the tools and strategies you need to be able to support your child's mental health and wellbeing.
They will help you understand more about metal health and help you to begin to think of it in the same way as we do physical health.
Mental Health issues often present as behaviours and these are often assigned labels or attributes.
The aim of these courses is to begin to look beyond the labels and try to understand the underlying issues that your child may be struggling with.
Next Build Bridges Parent Workshop begins soon!

" I can't begin to thank Sandy enough for sharing her expertise and knowledge. It has really given me the skills to de-escalate the situation when me & my teen go head to head"
- Sarah (Mum of teen boys aged 17 & 15)
Hi, I’m Sandy Drury
I am a mental health specialist with over 20 years of experience working in education with children and teens. I am passionate about promoting mental health and wellbeing in young people, and working towards reducing the stigma attached to mental health issues.
My mission is to help parents & teachers support young people's mental health and wellbeing through a series of interactive online courses and workshops.
I aim to provide teachers and parents with a toolkit of strategies to help children and teens to be able to express their emotions, and have the strength to overcome their difficulties.
I want parents to have the confidence to support their children without judgement, but through supportive, practical strategies that help children to develop a healthy and positive perspective on their mental health. I aim to facilitate the relationships between parents and children, helping to build the bridges between them.
